Welcome to the 54th round up of the Tuesday Photo Challenge!
I went in a completely different direction with the RGB theme, and, given your record thus far, I wasn’t surprised to see a great set of posts with these cool colors! Not only were your images colorful, but they were also highly creative! As a result, I had a lot of fun looking at all of your posts (there were many!), for which I thank you!
This week also included some unusual images that were the result of really clever planning and understanding the ins and outs of long exposure photography. I encourage you to check out all of this week’s entries!
There was a particular image that I captured in the Netherlands that I had in mind when this week’s theme crossed my mind…

Serendipity is my friend on many occasions, such as this one, when I found these fishing boats moored in their colorful best! The town of Volendam is one of the old fishing villages on the Ijsselmeer, which was the Zuiderzee before it was closed off at its Northern side by the Afsluitdijk (literally: Closing off dike). If you find yourself in the Netherlands, definitely check out the towns around the Ijsselmeer, as they are both picturesque and filled with history.
The following were this week’s participants in the challenge with links to their posts:
- Xenia posted first this week with a great quadrille and photos in her blog Whippetwisdom. Later in the week she followed it up with a bit of Wanderlust too: Whippetwisdom.

round-up 🙂
Thank you!!
Hello Frank. Thank you for mentioning me in your post. 🙂
Just a small correction, my name is Rekha, not Rheka. 🙂
Hi Rekha, sorry about misspelling your name. I will correct it. Thank you very much for participating!
Frank
Its alright. Thanks Frank 🙂
Rekha, I’m glad you let me know, as my fingers would never have corrected their behavior otherwise 🙂
No worries, Frank🙂 a lot of people mistype my name. It’s got to do with the keyboard layout. K and H are close by so while typing, they get interchanged. 🙂 Even my manager used to send mails addressing me as rekah or rheka.😀
Thank you for your wonderful compliment, Frank! Happy to join the challenge. 🙂
There might have been a glitch with my link so here’s the permalink: https://islandinthenet.com/tuesday-photo-challenge-rgb/
