Tuesday Photo Challenge – Round Up 42

Landing on land or water…

Welcome to this week’s round up, of the 42nd installment of the Tuesday Photo Challenge.  Thank you to each and every one of you who came up with creative entries for this week’s theme of Land.  You landed some fantastic posts!!

Your posts covered quite a bit of territory (literally) with wonderful images and lots of great information.  Landing safely came into play in a couple of posts, including a splashdown!  The variety was wonderful, and I really enjoyed reading them all!

Here’s a little throwback from a suspect landing…

Bad Parking

This image came from an outing to Nova Scotia; as I was driving around, my eye caught this odd little boat parked a ways from the water…I think that it had been there a while, clearly the result of some errant navigating.

The following were this week’s participants in the challenge with links to their posts:

Tuesday Photo Challenge – Land

From landscape to fish…

Welcome to Week 42 of the Tuesday Photo Challenge. Your response was overwhelimng and filled with creativity.  Thank you for all those wonderful entries.

The theme this week provides you with several avenues to take…  Whether you want to use Land as a noun or a verb, it’s entirely your choice.  Whichever choice you make, you have plenty of options; as a verb, is it a duck landing or landing a fish?  As a noun, is it my land, or the land I work.  I’m looking forward to find out what your interpretation will be.

As usual feel free to stretch this week’s theme in any direction that you might want, as there are no boundaries and no goals other than to have fun!

Here’s a bit of land that has been worked across the centuries…

Farm View

On a chilly Winter day, a couple of years ago, I sauntered onto this lovely farm; in the field there were a number of straw bales, so I decided to use one of them for framing this shot.  Looking over the land of the farm toward the comfort of the residence and barn.

The full rules of this challenge are in TPC Guidelines, but here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write a post with an image for this week’s topic
  • Please tag your post with fpj-photo-challenge (if you’re not sure about how tags work, please check out this WordPress article about tagging posts)
  • Create a pingback link to this post, so that I can create a post showing all of the submissions over the week (note: pingbacks may not appear immediately, as my site is set up to require approval for linking to it; helps against previous bad experiences with spamming)
  • Have fun creating something new (or sharing something old)!!

Looking forward to seeing you capture the lay of the land in new and exciting ways.  I know that you won’t land in trouble!
