Tuesday Photo Challenge – Round Up 48

Wonderful curvature!

The 48th episode of our weekly challenge dared threw you a curve ball and you responded with creativity that simply blew away the entire Curve!  It was a blast reading all of you entries!!

Your entries were very creative in that you approached multiple aspects of curves, ranging from the curveball to the use of curves in architecture and Nature.  There was no shortage of great images and posts!  Thank you very much for all your great contributions!

Sometimes, when we encounter a curve, we need to come to a full stop…

Full Stop
Full Stop

This was something that caught my eye while walking, particularly since this sign was sitting along the road that runs past a parking lot without any intersection nearby…

Tuesday Photo Challenge – Curve

3.14159265359…

Welcome to Week 48 of the Tuesday Photo Challenge. I had a lot of fun reading all your entries for last week’s challenge of Bloom, which was filled with beauty from all over the world.

This week, I’m going into a bit of a different direction.  Since today is Pi day (3/14), I thought that something that relates to Pi might be appropriate.  Hence, your challenge theme this week is Curve.  Curves are everywhere in the world around us, from leading curves in a great landscape to the beautiful curves of a car.

As always, feel free to be creative in your interpretation of the theme, and be sure to put your best effort into creating something evocative in your images.  There should be plenty of curves all around for you to capture and present in a novel way.

A bit of curvature to get you going….

This image came from a day at a car show, when I was struck by the hood ornament and the various shades of blue coming together.  I thought it would be nice for the jet to be flying through the sky!

The full rules of this challenge are in TPC Guidelines, but here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write a post with an image for this week’s topic
  • Please tag your post with fpj-photo-challenge (if you’re not sure about how tags work, please check out this WordPress article about tagging posts)
  • Create a pingback link to this post, so that I can create a post showing all of the submissions over the week (note: pingbacks may not appear immediately, as my site is set up to require approval for linking to it; helps against previous bad experiences with spamming)
  • Have fun creating something new (or sharing something old)!!

I’m very much looking forward to seeing all the curves that will show up this week!  Have a great week and enjoy!
