Food Moment – Deprive or Not?

No deprivation Monday

After a weekend of re-engineering and over-engineering a garage door opener into a space that clearly did not take into account that components fail over time, I’m in the mood for something a bit more whimsical.  But then, the Daily Prompt comes out with a theme of Deprive…

No freaking way, people!  It’s not happening.  So this food image is for those of you who want to let go on a this Monday and dip into a rainbow of snackery, that you know is bad for you!  Please, enjoy irresponsibly!!

Mondays & Mondays

These M&Ms were color-sorted for your entertainment, as I wanted to prove that Skittles might taste the rainbow, but M&Ms represent the rainbow of ultimate American superfood.

M&M’s originated in the United States in 1941, and are now sold in as many as 100 countries. More than 400 million individual M&M’s are produced every day in the United States.  They are produced in different colors, some of which have changed over the years. The candy-coated chocolate concept was inspired by a method used to allow soldiers to carry chocolate without having it melt. The company’s longest-lasting slogan reflects this: “Melts in your mouth, not in your hand.”
