Welcome to week 144 of the Tuesday Photo Challenge.

Last week’s entries were wonderful and filled with breezy creativity! So, after a week of shooting the Breeze, I thought it might be time to go with the flow and walk along the Bank. This week’s theme gives me enough confidence to bank on a wonderful set of creative responses from all of you fantastic contributors!

Yes, you guessed it! This is another theme that can take into numerous directions, all of which should be a lot of fun to explore. I look forward to reading all of your approaches!

Here’s a nice bank to walk alongside…

Walking along the Kharkiv

Last year, I had the pleasure of visiting Kharkiv in the Ukraine, on a work trip. I enjoyed the hospitality of the wonderful people and was impressed by the size and beauty of the city! Well worth a visit!

The full rules of this challenge are in TPC Guidelines, but here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write a post with an image for this week’s topic
  • Please tag your post with fpj-photo-challenge (if you’re not sure about how tags work, please check out this WordPress article about tagging posts)
  • Create a pingback link to this post, so that I can create a post showing all of the submissions over the week (note: pingbacks may not appear immediately, as my site is set up to require approval for linking to it; helps against previous bad experiences with spamming)
  • Have fun creating something new (or sharing something old)!!

So, sit down by the bank and let creative ideas flow by!

  3. oops, K didn’t register. 🙂

    1. No worries 🙂

      1. Have to ask, did you change the theme from Flow to Bank? I could have sworn it as flow when I did my post this morning.

      2. My error…the theme was Bank, as I had used Flow before. Unfortunately, the heading change didn’t take (and I didn’t pay attention 🙂 ). Good thing is that flow and bank work well together 🙂

      3. I’m relieved. I am not having a well day!!!

      4. Hope the rest of your day is much better!

  26. Your photo is wonderful. Did you do post processing? Color looks too saturated ( I loved it).

    1. Thank you! Yes, this is a 3-shot HDR image; I pushed the saturation a bit to get additional vibrance.

    1. That is awesome! The Trevi fountain may not be a great investment bank, but that appears not to stop people 🙂

      1. True! People flock there just hoping their wishes come true… banking on Lady Luck 😃

  32. That is a gorgeous view! Hope you like my twisted take to the prompt – https://www.quaintrevival.com/home-brewed-kombucha-experiment/

    1. Love it! Hope the flavors work out well for you. I love kombucha, bu usually by it from the store. My wife thinks it’s some kind of sludge that I drink 🙂

      1. Thank you! LOL – I thought that at first, too, but it has grown on me.

    1. Nice post! Love it!

  41. Wow, this is beautiful, Frank! The post I did this week on Self-forgiveness and Money perfectly relates…it’s about overcoming a fear of falling when I take a risk and knowing that love is a part of learning. AND going with the flow of how I express myself. Here it is: https://forgivingconnects.com/2019/01/21/its-money-mondays-topic-self-forgiveness-and-money/
Blessings to you, Frank! Great challenge.
    Debbie

ps – my friend (and ex-partner – we just split up) is a professional photographer and you’ll see a beautiful photo from him as part of this week’s contribution. He just finished his website!!

    1. It’s a perfect bit of cosmic coincidence that you’re doing a group on Self-Forgiveness and Money and this week’s theme is Bank! Sorry to read about your fall while running and about the split up; great to see that you’re still friends and I agree that his photo of you is beautiful! Heal your wounds and tread lightly while running!

      Best wishes to you, Debbie!

      1. Thank you so much, Frank! On all counts.

I thought that this week’s theme is Flow. Am I missing something?

        Blessings, Debbie

      2. The theme is actually ‘Bank’. I didn’t originally catch that I hadn’t fixed the title 🙂

      3. Oh how funny is that! I’ll change it in my post then. (Your photo actually can fit both themes, in a way).

Have a good night, Frank. Thanks for the clarification.
