Here comes the twenty-first mystery location post of this year….
There were some very accurate responses to last week’s post, one including the Google map coordinates where I was standing! Well done!! This week’s offering might prove a bit more challenging, but I fully expect that some among you might know where this is…
Perfect weather for visiting this place…
Looking forward to seeing who might have the answer here!
Here comes the twentieth mystery location post of this year….
The 19th one in the series was fairly easy to identify, so I’ll give you another relatively easy one. However, for extra credit: where was I standing to take this photo? And, no, I was not standing on the grass 🙂
Cloudy skies with both old and new…
I expect that this is going to be guessed within the hour, so precision will matter!
Here comes the eighteenth mystery location post of this year….
Number 17 was a bit more difficult, although some very discerning viewers did identify the ship and location. Sometimes the weather and sea can look so nice that we don’t realize how far north we are!
This week’s view comes from one of my hikes, something that I don’t appear to have enough time for (there are always more hikes that we want to do!!). No, I didn’t make it up the mountain that day, but might some day, as it should provide some rather wonderful views!
Where are we in this photo?
This is a bit more difficult, but I think you can do it!
Here comes the sixteenth mystery location post of this year….
Last week, the power of Google was demonstrated…and I had hoped that one of you had either made it to Panzano and seen Dario Cecchini’s butcher shop or seen it on the late Anthony Bourdain’s food/travel show, No Reservations.
For this week, there are fewer readable details in this image, as it is a wider view of a lovely town and its harbor. Where in the world do we find ourselves in this image?
Another shot from a lovely vacation filled with great people, sights and food!
Here comes the thirteenth mystery location post of this year….
This is another photo from my travels. It underscores the fact that it’s good to not always plan your route, as serendipity can help find interesting locations, such as the one in today’s post. In addition to this location, the end of the day brought us to another stunning vista that I found out about in a chat with a local here.
Where is this?
As this structure is fairly unique, I think keen observers have a good chance at this location.
