Over the past 24 hours, we have been deluged by near-record rainfall in our area with more than 4 inches (10 cm) falling. This made for flooding in many low-lying locations and interesting driving conditions.
During my commute home, yesterday, there was a momentary let-up in the rainfall, which allowed me to capture this image…
This vista is in Harvard, Massachusetts, by the Fruitlands Museum. With the temperature changes (it was warm over the past week), you can see the fog rising above rivers and wetlands. The heavy rain clouds are encroaching on the scene for their next release.
Technical Details
This image was captured with a Fujifilm X-T1 using a Fujifilm XF18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 LM OIS WR lens. Exposure settings were at 1/35 second, f/7.1 at 800 ISO.
