A cream across dimensions?
Sometimes we simply take a snapshot, just because the moment is there…
As I walked across Mumbai, this caught my eye; was it just a leftover from a poster advertising an art exhibit, or was it an inter-dimensional being trying to traverse into our dimension?
I might never know…

With travel and all, I’ve missed a couple of weeks of Khürt Williams photo challenge series, the 52 Week Smartphone Challenge. The theme for week 6 is ‘#NoFilter’: “No limit on what you shoot this week, as long as the image is pure. No filters, presets or other edits. Basic exposure corrections only this week.”
Khürt may have set some rules for this week, so I might as well start with twisting them a bit. I didn’t use a filter per se, but am guilty of a bit of post-processing in Luminar 4, which is rapidly becoming one of my favorite editing tools. As the content of this shot indicates, the #NoFilter is implied in the brewery name… Plus, I thought that with Khürt’s appreciation for the finer breweries, this might fit well for this week’s theme.

Welcome to week 198 of the Tuesday Photo Challenge!
After a wonderful week of feline fun, it might just be time for something a bit more sedate; with that in mind, I thought this week’s theme should be Rest… Well-deserved to be sure! Of course, with a theme like Rest, there are many directions, in which we can take this. After all, while you Rest, the Rest of the world could be awake… Whether a verb or a noun, you get to choose how you want to interpret this theme.
So, don’t rest on your laurels and collect the rest of your ideas into a creative post! I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with this week! Go out there and have fun with this one!

In front of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (King Shivaji Museum) rests this stunning sculpture, titled “Buddhas Within”. With inherent serenity, we get to appreciate the garden and the museum’s structure behind it. In many ways, this museum is an oasis where one can enjoy a moment of mental rest and appreciation.

Welcome to week 196 of the Tuesday Photo Challenge!
Among all the themes that I haven’t done yet, I was surprised to find Trees (or Tree) among them! As I captured several interesting trees along the way, I thought there may be some possibilities here. Your challenge is to share some of your favorite trees with one another, and I’m sure there will be something of interest!
For me, trees are both symbols of permanence and also persistence against the elements. They stand the test of time and can be admired and even revered. I’m looking forward to the trees in your lives!
Here’s a magnificent banyan tree…
Trees are making a come-back in Mumbai, which is great to see. I particularly love these banyan trees, some of which are so large that the road has lanes going around them.

This shot was taken, as we were leaving the Kala Ghoda Cafe, which is a great coffee house, wine bar, etc. The cafe has expanded its location on Rope Walk Lane, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, by taking over more of the building behind it. The front looks to be mostly take out with a couple of small tables; the second room is more of a dining room, and third room leads to a wine bar!
